For professionals who are dedicated to marketing we are complicated sometimes we determine how we will work for a client or company, and as such work will impact the consumer or target our client. It is very important to conceptualize and structure all our marketing activities, so the results will be much better than we expected. And that order and structure gives us one brief.
The Brief is the document that will give us all the information to perform a marketing activity or conceptualize a campaign. Whether a design, a corporate video, an advertisement, a spectacular etc. We must make a funnel to focus all our ideas to what the customer really needs. Within the general elements of a BRIEF include the following:
1- Obetivos of the activity performed or work to deliver
2- Target
3- Duration (if it is a video) delivery format if it design or campaign
4- General concept of deliverables
5- schematic Motion Video (if it is) or sketch (if design or campaign)
We must also take into account three aspects:
1. Description detailed target (average age, socioeconomic level, habits etc.)
2.Si communication to be transmitted formally or informally
3. A little history of how the company has handled its advertising (that is modern or conservative) to see what kind of results they deliver and will please our client
A BRIEF help us to "not get out of line" in terms of results is concerned, that is; if not set or design a campaign that is aimed at a certain sector of the population, the results are likely to deliver disliked or customer or consumer. Not the same a campaign to medium-low (B and C) market, which for a market of high socioeconomic status, ie both sectors consume differently, so advertising should be focused on the way consume.
It is highly recommended to set all the above points on paper, so we will have exactly the idea where to start to conceptualize our work, how communicate the message to be transmitted, and speculate as to the results we want to obtain. And our customer very good taste will remain common to perceive that we know what we do and know how!
Conclusion: We can define the BRIEF as a crucial element of success in our results because it lays the groundwork for the start of any idea and gives us the guidelines to know where to begin to trace the path of activities of successful marketing, a recommendation to the marketing professionals MUST NOT LEAVE NOTHING TO ESTABLISH AIR AND EVERY DETAIL IN PAPER, so rain consistently good BRIEF ideas will help us to deliver consistent and very successful.

Who are we to want to predict the future? Who gives us the right? By natural instinct, the human being wants to know what comes after today, either, planning, resilience or simple curiosity.
Proof of this approach was that the movie "Back to the Future" in 1985, which made its plot a trip today, suggesting that 2015 would be the future, full of rare inventions that would be the greatest expression of the modernity for humanity.
2015 and is today, and many of the things that were raised as a modern invention they were, but not as many still exist. Well, now we have no other to do new approaches to re-create a future 30 years from now.
I will platicarte meanwhile on some ideas of what will be the future of marketing, scheduled for the next 10 years:
Big data 1- to humanize communication: communication will increasingly closer, almost personalized thanks to the crossing of information on our consumption characteristics.
2- global Multiculturalism: More than ever the ancient cultures of the cities will be exploited to reach a global exposure. Large cities we now know will saturate at such a degree of second and third generations seek to create new cities (colonization 2.0) which respect their natural and human environment. It is time that makes this statement is also line up, but new brands emerge to the point of overcoming the major brands today.
3- Smart Minds: Our minds control our actions increasingly remotely with a simple thought action will be taken. Advertising will be worth having a better love branding strategy, because consumers can choose whether or not you want information that is intrusive for him.

On several occasions I have been asked or have seen in social networks a fairly common question and in which I think there are different opinions, why recent graduate marketing as I struggle a lot to get a job ?.
Many people attribute the lack of work to lack of employment opportunities for the economic situation of the country, lies, there is work there, what is missing are prepared graduates and do not be afraid to leave your comfort box.
Sometimes I wonder how it is that being in the "Information Age" may be recent graduates (and worse and some graduates) who have not read at least four books on marketing and advertising (and worse when they think that marketing and Advertising is the same) and have no basic knowledge of other areas related to his career.
While there are companies that seem quite abusive seeking a Lic. In Marketing with two or three additional races, 5 years experience and 20 to 25 years with a salary not even worth sending the CV, there are basic requirements must have for any graduate who aspires to be competitive in the area and good candidate for a job.
What are the attitudes, skills and / or knowledge that should have a recent graduate of marketing today?
PROACTIVE
According to Wikipedia, proactivity is "An attitude in which the subject takes the lead in developing creative and bold to generate improvements and take responsibility for making things happen actions; always decide what we do and how we will do. "
I think that is the basic attitude must have for any graduate of marketing (and any other area) is what will make the difference between all the people we compete in an office, a boss always expect the best results from your computer, but protrude always one who says "I took the liberty of adding this or improve that" and always will be the greatest chances of gaining job despite his inexperience. The knowledge, attitude is not acquired.
GANAS
I've heard a thousand times the question "and no other time? It is that I have very far. "And then remove that candidate of my options.
There is no excuse to work when they feel like nothing matters, I know people who do 2hrs way to work and still arrive on time and with much encouragement. If a job is too far away and I think it will be an effort, it is better not to run, although it is the job of your dreams, if you do not feel like they never cast in advance that work.
Or even if there are not many job opportunities in your city, you have to look elsewhere.
EXPERIENCE
One of the requirements listed in 90% of vacancies is "Experience X years" and many complain "How can they have experience if just finished the race?" Easy: Work while you study.
For their economic situation is good, there is much difficulty, but nevertheless incredibly, do not. For which the situation is not so good may be common; Many will say "Yes, I work, but I work at McDonalds to pay me the race"; While I received this response, I asked, "What have you learned during your stay Marketing McDonalds?" and the answer, to my surprise was: "What can you learn one of Merca at McDonalds?".
There I noticed the lack of enthusiasm and proactivity that person, if not would you put on your CV "Cashier McDonalds for 3 years", in an interview will serve quite say "During my stay at McDonalds I learned about Direct Marketing strategies Ambient Marketing, to Customer Service and the Big Mac Index. " The experience is obtained everywhere and everywhere there marketing, no matter the job.
ADOBE MANAGEMENT
I have seen many times that: "I am Mercadólogo no designer" and is something more stupid, is not that companies want you to handle the suite as a graphic designer, but the area of marketing works closely with area design, so that the marketer must have developed certain visual skills and even formats to explain correctly what the designer wants or even make corrections on the fly. I know "professionals" who can not even create a PDF and do not say annotate / corrections.
A graduate of Marketing, is a recent graduate or not, should know how to communicate their ideas with a designer and even able to make a reasonable criticism about any design you put in front.
EXCELLENT WRITING AND SPELLING
This is basic, if you put on your CV "Profecionales" or "Social servisio" get out from there, a person with bad spelling reveals one thing: Do not read. And what knowledge can have someone who has this habit?
HUMILITY
Other important factors, most as recent graduates do not accept the idea of a work $ 6,000 - $ 10,000 per month and one in which the only person below them in the organization is the guy who throws the cafes and washes cars.
Even in the CV have to be realistic, I have received CVs of people 22-25 years with positions as "Creative Director" "National Coordinator" "VP" "lecturer" "Business Coach" and immediately you realize that are put in agencies formed by themselves with a group of friends and you know that if you are being asked because that agency work is not work, but as was VP and feel you do not deserve to have a Jr. position within the company.
DIGITAL KNOWLEDGE AREA
I understand that few universities in Mexico you get a preparation in the area of Digital Marketing, while there are many who manage social networks (that does not make them a Community Manager or SMM) Digital MKT is not just social media, as marketer should have at least basic knowledge of Email Marketing and CRM, there are many free services on the Internet as well as tutorials, so proactive to learn more than I use Facebook should be basic to all recent graduate to be competitive.
BOOK
While it is not something that request at any job opening Marketing is quite useful to keep those school work, recognition of courses / workshops so that they may provide support to all that is and is not in his CV for an interview .
A job interview should imagine it as an interview at the consulate when applying for visas must show the recruiter why you should hire you and not to another.
