When it comes to successful products, whether services, goods, companies, concepts, etc., is generally speaks of those elements that led to the prosperity those ideas, those actions we all saw that pulled that brand or product of the paper and brought action, it is counted as a fantastic story where everything was wonderful and almost a fairy tale, but little is said about the marketing strategy that led to the success of these, effort, plans, paper, pencil he crawled to get those fantastic ideas that made that product something we know today, that we live day by day and part of our everyday slang. I present the key element: marketing strategy (* All open their eyes and see the never seen before *).
The marketing strategy is essential in any action taken since being concatenated way with the action that precedes and will come tomorrow or next week, a strategy consistent marketing is achieved., Leaving aside those actions isolated seeking to take fantastic way to success, the fact is that there is nothing new under the sun, a guide and muuucho work needed to follow. There's no more.
When it comes to marketing strategy it is important not to lose sight of what next steps, if we make them, we're on the other side:
1. Analyze your product. You have to make a real and honest analysis of your product. It is not possible to develop a marketing strategy without having this clear and realistically; It is basic to a dynamic of "devil's advocate" to anticipate those "holes" that has your product and to act before the criticism that the competitor will do as you appear on the market. Remember that competition is merciless.
2. Develop objectives. Once having clear what you sell, in different areas, whether real, emotional, ideal, etc, you have to set realistic goals for your marketing strategy has sufficient relevance and will serve as a real guide to all your project . When we have clear objectives it is very common to go astray goal or confuse tactical tasks to strategic tasks and lose the most valuable of a company: time.
If your goals are clear, realistic, achievable and measurable, those on the other side. This will be like a roadmap to take your company where you want to go and your marketing strategy is robust enough to take you to achieve your goals.
3. Design your marketing strategy, is you say, you know where you want to go, you know far as you "enough" to get, now ponle most important time, money, officers, calendar, actions, etc. In other words, what will you say ?, Who ?, How ?, When ?, Where? and Why? ... are the questions that should answer all your actions within the calendar.
4. Your brand strategy is not alone ... so you should take into account that over 3 wherein set who does what, and when ... you'll have to steer the boat, you have to run the whole plan , which it is already reflected in the paper and also need to have a go GRID where monitoring that all seafarers do their homework on the ship.
5. Lead. And brand strategy does not run alone, do you have to stick your nose where it has not called you, that is, do not want to draw water from the boat when you have to go see the boat is not going to hit something, then , the strongest role in any company is the leading ... do not lose focus for your brand strategy and become not wrecked everything in just a wish list.

Many have already been discussed for some time and have been addressed in general terms as a real change on the horizon for marketers. But these trends are no longer mere expectations; They are here now, say some experts, and will only be consolidated during 2016. What are the trends in marketing (MKT) popular today that will only become even more popular in 2016? You better marketing managers (CMOs) pay attention to them or lose a competitive advantage.
Jim Lecinski, vice president of Customer Solutions Google in America, cured a list of the top five trends that he believes will strengthen next year and beyond.
Lecinski trends identified based on these criteria: They help CMOs in its mission to boost growth; they are big enough to be relevant trends; They are relevant in all sectors; They are relevant not only in America but throughout the world; and are trends that enable CMOs not only observe, but act now.
The five trends rest on an undeniable fact: that the mobile has completely transformed consumer behavior. "There is one long session in which you 'you connect', rather, in the present there are many 'micro moments' that occur over short bursts throughout the day as you complete micro tasks on your phone in pursuit of a bigger, like buying a new car "goal.
These are the five trends:
1 Scanning products, the Internet of Things IoT
Almost everything can be digitized. From board games to thermometers and tennis rackets, everyday products can find a new life and connect as smart and upgrades. The connectivity will become the new currency for competitiveness. Smart homes, smart cars, smart lights, all offer unprecedented opportunities for brands to increase engagement with their customers from multiple angles. That means a new flood of data to the marketing department. And according to recent reports, companies such as SAP have partnered to strengthen the security of IoT amid reports of a market showing that the market IoT has experienced, "a rhythm of sustained growth with a CAGR expected 31.7 % for the period between 2014 and 2019. An increase in the use of smart applications including navigation devices, media players and imaging devices continues to fuel the demand for better infrastructure for IoT. "
2- The mobile is first

By 2016, spending on mobile advertising will represent nearly a quarter of total advertising spending in media. With so dependent on their smartphones millennials and younger generations as the consumer segment fastest growing, brands can no longer be relegated to the background their mobile strategies. More than ever, the brand engagement should begin, not end with the mobile platform.
3- and Virtual Reality 360 video are real
In early November, the New York Times included a Google Cardboard in its Sunday edition. You can expect similar strategies in. In 2020, virtual reality represent a market of 30,000 million dollars, while augmented reality will be a market of 120,000 million, according to DigiCapital. 4- New disruptive competition
The kids today is devouring large. A small army of willing Davids toppling Goliaths. There are Dollar Shave Club and Harry's that have stolen market Gillette. Also the current "collaborative economy", where competition comes from shared services: Uber, Airbnb, Handy or Postmates. According to the founder of Crowd Companies, Jeremiah Owyang, "participation in the collaborative economy has grown 25% last year. More than half of Americans now obtain products and services from each other as equals, rather than buy them at established companies. "
5- The explosion of advertising technology
According to eMarketer, the US next year programmatic represent 2/3 of the total money invested in digital display ads, or more than 21,000 million dollars. That's up to twice that of 2014. In 2014, eMarketer analyst Lauren Fisher was quoted as saying, "the advertising program has done a lot of hype in the last 12-24 months, but finally it is fair to say that today, such participation is the norm, not the exception. 2014 proved to be a crucial year, and established and ready to be tested infrastructure, will see an explosion in advertising investment program in 2016 ". Welcome to the future.
Many CMOs are ending their marketing plans for 2016, and as such, it is necessary that the following questions are asked, according Lecinski: We are scanning our products? Do we think first mobile? Do we experience with virtual reality? Are we disruptors in our category? Do we take advantage of technology in advertising?
"It is too late to be first," he said. "The brands that dominate these trends can gain a competitive advantage over those that do not."

In every country there are people who love luxury and comfort. In rich nations and poor also. In Latin America, despite the many social problems that exist, people love to buy things to show off their social status. BBC recently conducted research to determine which country of that side of the world's luxury shopping and Mexico was the first recorded.
Sales of cars, clothes, jewelry, fashion accessories and other luxury goods in Mexico increased by 25.9% in 2015, according to Euromonitor International.
Mexican society suffers from many problems and some of the cities in the North American country appear among the most dangerous in the world. There is also poverty. However, its economy is the second largest in Latin America after Brazil, according to the World Bank.
For many years Mexico has hosted branches of the most prestigious brands in the world. Recently the exclusive carmaker Lamborghini and Carolina Herrera fashion house, opened in some Mexican cities.
Euromonitor estimates that in 2015 the value of the luxury market in Mexico was $ 3.6 million (€ 3.3 million). In the same period in Brazil was $ 3.1 million (€ 2.8 million).
The products that are sold are shoes, clothes, watches, jewelry, beauty products, perfumes and beverages. Also luxury cars.
The aspirational middle class
Something curious in that Mexican reality is that millionaires are not the main buyers of luxury goods, but the "aspirational middle class", those with above-average wages.
Claudio Fores Thomas, vice president of consulting Lexia, explained to the BBC that "there are those who have planes and pilots, and the upper middle classes probably have no helicopter but we access the consumer products segment."
While Cristina Morales, Signum Research analyst adds that there are people who want to demonstrate their rise up the social ladder by buying luxury goods.
"It's an aspirational buyer, someone who starts climbing middle class to upper middle class," said Morales. "The aspirational purchases allow you to get something that was unattainable for you."
All brag
Rosario Zavala, Lexia also indicates that 68% of buyers of luxury "like to show off." "Whether or not they like a product, they will buy the brand as you see."
However, not all luxury buyers moves the display. There are many who have always belonged to high society and therefore are used to purchase products from renowned brands.
"In Mexico you can have a luxury buyer of a brand that is very discreet as Prada has no visible logo, versus brands such as Louis Vuitton and Carolina Herrera, whose icons are obvious".
The most expensive cities in Latin America
Mercel consultant recently conducted a prestigious ranking of the most expensive cities in Latin America. Mexico This list does not appear in the first place, but the number 13. Specifically Mexico City, the capital.
Buenos Aires, Argentina, is the most expensive city in Latin America. In 2014 it occupied the fourth place. Now Sao Paulo in Brazil is in the second seat after commanding the list last year. Third place is also for Brazil in Rio de Janeiro this case. While Santiago is the fourth most expensive city in Latin America.

"Mexico has become an area of great relevance to the use of licenses, because they represent the link that allows brands to finally join the audience who are looking to win."
"The licenses have the strength to be able to communicate values and messages that the public fails to recognize easily, besides offering an important feel belonging to a group or movement."
Opportunity served
Although the results of the use of licenses for companies are solid, according to PROMARCA, currently only 2% of all products we buy are supported by a license, hence the field norme opportunity that exists.
"We're still very early stages of corporate brand licensing, certainly companies that now rise to this boat will further leverage the benefits that can be exploited."
But what is the procedure to follow to select the license can best quedarle our brand ?.
1. Philosophy

4. Creative Resources
Fourthly we have to realize an analysis of what kind of creative activities is possible with the support of the license, that is, how we can adapt, for example, to packaging and how he can get the most juice possible. Is it possible to add a collectible for the consumer? The more interest can be generated in people the results will be better.
