One of the great myths in the market related activities is the so-called "subliminal advertising". It is a common question of neophytes students of the race, and even is a myth that still dragging who spent the night around the room, or had a teacher who fostered this myth, or because in the field of consumer psychology did not put or an iota of attention.

However, it is an issue that must be handled with care since it is something that marketers should encourage consumers. Yes, it sounds contradictory, but it is those market related ironies that make our world work, as the consumption of Coca Cola: illogical, nobody in their right mind would, but nevertheless becomes.

What is commonly understood as "Subliminal Advertising"?

Legend has it that there are advertisements that are designed to give messages to the subconscious and will force you to do things you do not want to do, like buying your product. Also they are alluding to sexual situations and if you see carefully you can see naked people, or even having sex. The existence of trade they are the delight of many people with long and rather morbid that are dedicated to finding the images and messages that cause the consumer to buy things they do not need.

I still remember when I went to college and my teammates were crazy about the famous Absolut ad in the ice where a couple was seen having sex. The truth saw them said yes so I would not say silly, but the reality is that only saw two ice cubes; I must confess that I felt like a failure, because as a marketing student could not see that, how was it possible ?, what was he doing wrong? Fortunately for me, soon we went to a conference with Yuri Alvarado, which at the time worked at Young & Rubicam - where in the question and answer portion, said very aptly (at least for servidoro):

"Before they begin to wonder if subliminal advertising there, I'm going to say no. That's nonsense. So far I have not met any consumer who watch television by lifting hypnotized and go to buy the product, or any advertiser who has that power. "

And as Yuri Alvarado said, I was relieved. Later in other conferences, the answers were more or less the same and delve to the study of consumer behavior confirmed the fact.

So why is a naked child in the packaging of Camel?

It is basically perception, which is a basic reaction of our organism to external stimuli. In classical conditioning, there are two ways of processing information, and the most basic is precisely the perception. First we discard all stimuli to which our body is exposed and stayed with that become relevant. This process is called selective attention, and we do naturally and unconsciously.

Then we interpret these stimuli, and this interpretation has to do with our unique and personal experience or our shortcomings. It is that the same stimulus is distorted by the interpretation we give, but only interpret those stimuli that really stand out above all others. This process is called selective distortion, and is to blame for they see penises, boobs or people having sex in the ice of Absolut. Is it magic or forces you to do something you do not want ?, definitely not, but it is fun to see the interpretations that people give to mistakes (or intentions) selective distortion and take advantage of that curiosity to a more visible ad.

But Martin Lindstrom says yes there ...

Sure, and from the perspective of the subliminal Lindstrom exists, but not in the context that most people think it is. To which Martin is referring to is called perception thresholds, which are basically the level of perception of sensory stimuli and from there we start with selective attention above. Each one has a differential threshold (ability to detect stimuli) perception, and if a stimulus-of aromas, for example is not perceived but interpreted, there is something called subliminal perception, and yes indeed you but you did not notice the message It has been interpreted by your subconscious and makes you evoke pleasant or unpleasant feelings associated with that stimulus even if you do not know why.

That's what happens when something displeases us the first contact and we do not know why; however, those pleasant or unpleasant feelings in any given time can motivate a purchase, but by no means are brainwashing anyone. It is mere encouragement, as all marketing.

But do not tell everybody, because it is a secret.

Now you know the truth, but this is a secret between you and me. Normal people, ie "non-marketers" should not know, because it's important for us to see what they want to see in the ads, whether phalluses, boobies, sex and rock and roll and dams curiosity or morbid, They share what they see. A free and widespread impact is a valuable impact.

I think what some think of as the bells being announced in October? And what has to do with the neuromarketing ?, Well, just go to any supermarket to find the answer ... and in most shopping malls are the trees and Christmas decorations, businesses and starting now we are preparing for the season, the best time to sales. So I would like that this season Guadalupe-Reyes as we usually call in Mexico, a little more open mind and stay tuned to capture all the previous details that go by the brand and its evolution up to the holiday date.
First of all I would like to mention that in this blog I do not focus on explaining which is the
neuromarketing and its functionality, so for those who are fresh out of the package and are premiering on the issue only tell you that according to Luis Martinez (ESADE BS) neuromarketing expert in business one of the foundations is as follows: "Emotions draw care, feelings generate loyalty. " Or as mentioned Balanzó Cristina, Founder of Walnut Marketing Sciences. "Neuromarketing is a new way to understand the consumer, to find that which is below the threshold of consciousness" or also comments that "the stronger the link with associations, the faster the reaction time, more It is the emotional charge. " So as you may have noticed is to involve consumers to generate an emotional attachment to the brand, as they say link your brand with a satisfying feeling that eventually translate into sales fidelizadas (Let's face more beautiful they are the campaigns, this is the main purpose of any nonprofit organization)
For those who want to delve a little deeper into what the Neuromarketing, I leave here some links where you can learn which is what is neuromarketing? , About the olfactory Neuromarketing, that is the Neuroviralidad and how do viral advertising and other growing cases Trademark thank you neuromarketing.

Very good and having that little framework can begin and to be honest despite being marketer I love this time of year is coming and let me wrap up with the magic of the campaigns where arouse the collective feeling of love, peace, harmony family, happiness. From childhood I liked to wait to see what new commercial will bring Coca-Cola, either with their teddy or holy, or see when the Christmas caravan to the city where I live will, or commercial élegamente sympathetic will iron palace referencing shopping season. Well without further ado I leave some success stories of Christmas campaigns designed to involve consumers in the "Magic of Christmas".
One of my favorite is undoubtedly the West Jet, this Christmas campaign involving passengers giving them what they wanted for Christmas surprise as they reached their destination. WestJet as recorded in his blog, in just sixteen hours video showing the campaign exceeded 200,000 views on YouTube. A few days later the figure was over 30 million. The campaign has also won major impact on mainstream media such as CNN, ABC and The Daily Mail. The Mosaic agency has participated in the action. It is not the first time that WestJet goes to market with a campaign to spread the holiday cheer at an airport. In 2012, the airline created a flashmob with Christmas carols, dancing elves all this in the middle of an airport.

4.- The reluctant marketer

The marketing seems to stop, what we have to look in the coming years? The expert in digital trends, Bhargava, it explains.
How do you know what comes to future marketing? The reality is that no one is quite certain, however, we must be able to anticipate and somehow anticipate what will happen in the coming years in these areas.

So says Rohit Bhargava, author of the Amazon bestseller "Non-Obvious" and founder of Influential Marketing Group, considered in America as one of the curators of major trends that exist today.

The expert knows that it is impossible to anticipate in time and know for sure what is coming, but argues that there exists the ability to visualize what marketing trends that will mark almost all the marketing in the next 2 or 3 are years.

What is the formula used to predict this? Simply joining and analysis of three concepts that underlie ensures every tendency that appears:
1. The ideas that currently exist.

2. The impact.

3. how they might evolve.

"As marketers we must acquire the ability to see what others do not see, you go a step further, to prepare for curing new experiences and make a difference."
Thus, academic fellow at Georgetown University identifies that there are six trends that will shape this business in the coming years and they need to start being worked advance for companies, brands and marketing agencies, what are they? Here we explain each.
1. Unperfection
Humans are imperfect by nature, he says Bhagarva is why I mentioned that gradually begin to see that those brands, products and services that are committed to being 100% sincere in their communications better positioned, avoiding noted that they are able to solve anything, as do mentions that many brands that come to deceive consumers in their goal to be perfect today.

The expert gives an example of this trend communication management has Bricker Hans Hotel Amsterdam, Netherlands, one of the most popular 15 of the country, characterized by emphasize in their advertising their mistakes, but being totally honest with travelers.
2. Everyday Stardom
In the coming years we will see grow the tendency of people to seek brands that treat them in a special way, as if they were the biggest entertainment personalities that exist today. Rohit says that companies should strive to lead people to live VIP experience at all times.

An example of this trend is today Disney, who through a technological bracelet is now being felt extra special people to be able to do with her about everything.
3. Branded Benevolence
In third place we find the growing appetite of people to purchase products or services from socially responsible brands, companies able to repay some of the world how much you have been able to give them throughout their history in order to grow. Today people not only look for a brand for their service, but also for their ability to create change.

The expert cites the work of the TOMS brand, who also sell shoes has done strong work to support those children and youth who do not enjoy using this well. For every shoe they sold one to give away low-income people.
4. The reluctant marketer
The next trend is the reluctant marketer, what are we talking about? A marketing specialist who will not settle for generating content that sells, but go further and consolidate the creation of content that regale value, knowledge and stories to people.

One company that today makes this better is Kikkoman, a brand of soybean oil that creates all the time content that not only the qualities of their product, but also generates emotion in people through recipes, tips and even movies about their history.
5. Reverse Retail
The issue of customer experience touches the retail trend in the next Bhargava, who argues that supermarkets need to find ways to provide people doing their shopping in a new way, relying on technologies such as eCommerce, the which should be able to be fully integrated into the daily lives of people.

The example in this occasion gives us Tesco, who in South Korea created a new system of online stores through which people could make their purchases in a very different way than usual.
6. Experimedia
Finally, the specialist closes Experimedia trend, ie the creation of entirely realistic experiments for brands to its advertising and talk to people on different social facts of relevance and are then still outstanding.

The Prudential Insurance conducted a major exercise in this sense, when to give value to the issue of retirement savings invited a large group to buy the young age at which stop working with the average life currently exists.

Have you heard of market research? You know what it is? or What is? ...
If the answer is no, or a subject that will not entirely clear, in this article I will try to be very specific so that you know what is and what is it market research on any company.
What is Market Research?

Well, as its name implies (research) it is the task or activity to collect, search, or infer information, but not any kind of information ... this should be useful for decision-making within your business.

What types of market research there?

Market research can be classified into 2 groups, quantitative and qualitative research. Worth mentioning is the difference between these two, and then I try to explain.

In quantitative research and hard as concrete as possible data are obtained, since as its name indicates what we try to do is "Count", have measurable, comparable, you can plot, have a representation of it. Examples: Exit polls in elections, service satisfaction surveys, questionnaires ... like when you wonder why you voted party, if the service was good or bad, how often do you eat at "X" spot month, the reason for your visit, etc.
However in qualitative research it is more perceived attitudes, behaviors, feelings, more detailed views, and how accomplished? ... Noting reactions, verbal language and non-verbal expressions, habits and to achieve this must be in contact with the person or environment to evaluate, which is done through interviews, focus groups, mystery shoppers, etc.
Well ... but what I would do market research?
The big question ... as I mentioned previously the most valuable of doing market research is able to make informed decisions, develop strategies based on data or information, not hunches; increase the rate of success that you elaborate marketing plans, Plantées and / or put into action. Why? because you got your key target market to get to them, know what they like, how they like, when, why, how, etc.

Examples? ... Many!

Anticipating the feasibility of a new business.
Means to determine where to advertise to reach your market effectively.
Analyze that sell products or which are in need of your customers.
Prospect to put your next branch.
Knowing that prices, offers or promotions are they like your consumers.
Knowing what to do and minimize the margin of error in your strategies; and that in business is like gold.
Is it expensive or cheap to do market research? Worth it?

And here I return the question: What price would you give to make the right decision? How expensive would you fail for not having the right information? What is it worth to you to know your market?

Think about it ... and I'll say again "Without market research there is no paradise"

Do not risk Research is the key to success!

A supermarket in South Korea opened virtual stores in subway stations so that people do super on the way home.
Sujin Park is one of thousands of young South Koreans who are so busy at work-and technology-they do not have time or do super. It gained independence from his parents when he started working as a sound engineer at Samsung Electronics, and since then, the life is not enough. Spend half a day at the office, in the heart of Gangnam. After attending private classes to improve their English and then goes home, where he spends a few hours playing online before bedtime.

Some years ago, the supermarket chain Tesco Home Plus opened virtual stores in subway stations in Seoul for people as busy as Sujin Park could do your shopping on the way home.

Virtual shelves are identical to those of the "real" life: dozens of products exhibited with their prices. The only difference is that instead of placing the goods in the cart super, people scan the QR code with your smartphone product and add it to your shopping online. After the operation is super delivery.

The results of this strategy, which combines people, processes, data and things- have been spectacular. Just three months after launching their virtual stores, online sales of Tesco had increased 130%, while the number of registered users on the site increased 76%.
Buying Experience
Retail companies worldwide, including Tesco, are already connecting things (smartphones, tablets, touch screens and mobile applications and e-commerce) with information, processes and users. The object? Improve the customer shopping experience and, of course, sell more.

Imagine that at the right moment you walk to your favorite store, you receive a text message on your smartphone inviting you to see the announcement of products that the store has for you promotions. In addition to letting you know the sales, your cell phone company notifies you that you pay 20 pesos of airtime if you see the full commercial.

Once you finish viewing the ad, using the Wireless Network Store, you receive a message in which you are asked if you want know what aisle is located the Promotion product (obviously, you must agree that use your location). As if by magic, is displayed on the screen of your phone a map that guides you to the hall where the goods are. As the reduction is good, you get several items. In less than five minutes, the store is selling more and you're happy because you made a good buy. And all thanks to a concept you've probably heard: the "internet of things" or rather, the "internet of everything", as aptly calls the technology company Cisco.

The Internet connects all "whole" through internet: people, data, processes and things (not just things).
Therefore, many retail companies already integrate this concept with digital and mobile technologies. Rafael Solares, director of sales in Mexico -a VMware virtualization solutions provider and Cloud-, says that in the United States, more than half of sales in the retail sector is done through mobile technologies. "

Another fact: according to a report by research firm internet marketing, comScore, Americans spend more time interacting with retailers through their smartphones and tablets than PCs or laptops. And Mexico is going over.

The main benefits are happier customers, most valuable brands and sales. The challenges? Ensure that the information you have about your customers is quality, which you implement technology is safe and meets a genuine need for your customers. And it works perfectly.

If you want to know statistics about devices connected to the Internet, increased purchases in lines and engagement that can be generated with the client as well as the example of Starbucks App, you can download the digital magazine or subscribe here to receive version printed. Also look for it in major outlets.

Today, content marketing is the cornerstone of a strategy. Content can be a firm step your organization needs to enter the digital world.
Advertising agency, public relations, design and a department of three members was enough to marketing. A consumer products company maintained a structure by product line and a central area with local or global report. 4 P was the mantra of marketers and their guru Philip Kotler.
The technology came to break the structures of companies, among them, the area of marketing. Today, the operation is basically digital, and had to do a complete re-engineering of the operation and the members who compose it. Technology platforms have been implemented to manage work and has shifted from offline to online design strategies and mixed strategies. The CMO (chief marketing oficer) had to change the chip to remain the commander of marketing, but with a twist 2.0. The constant training became an obligation to operate within the parameters of the digital world.

Today, the pes ces have changed and so many other letters of the alphabet; moreover, they are no longer four but six or eight. Difficult to name a guru when the digital marketing is relatively new. The phenomenon has caused all digital gurus are created, but actually there are specialists (Seth Godin is one of the few that could be named as such). However, digital is rapidly changing and has an infinite way to go, I would rather say that today's digital marketing does not have a mantra or a guru: Digital marketing is reinvented daily.

 Breaking paradigms

From paper to web, web applications, the copy to the community manager, three to six agencies, consultants internal collaborators, the statement to Twitter, advertising content. The directors realized that it is no longer just a website; It is a comprehensive digital marketing strategy. However, according to the Marketing and Social Networks 2014 study by AMIPCI, only 2 out of 10 companies spend 5% to 10% of its budget to this activity. The budget is a barrier that is accompanied by a lack of knowledge of the digital world What provider to choose? How do I get on the digital age? What profile should I look? ¿Inhouse or outsourcing? Should I be on Facebook?

 The killer digital strategy

The content is the killer marketing strategy for the new era of marketing. Information is power, and what a CIO is looking to be successful and to make sound decisions. Acquire technology, restructuring a department and hire suppliers it requires information and knowledge to do it right. The CMO is measured by results, and it can not afford to avoid the digital era and making wrong decisions.

The content marketing or content marketing, is the cornerstone of a strategy; without these no social networking, no mailing campaigns, no paid campaigns. Content has always existed, but today should be conceived as the information tool that leads to knowledge, loyalty and, eventually, to the decision making.

Well implemented, the marketing content as part of a digital strategy is aimed at educating, evagelizar and gradually accompany the customer to the company considers it as an option in the market. Achieving this has to continue to nurture various forms of content and through various channels.

The content marketing is threefold, which are precisely those that make him king: shape, channel and relevance.

This does not kill the traditional marketing; complements. The more channels covering, the more effective the message. An example is e-mail: the base is the content, the tool an effective system of mailing a segmented basis and metric data for decision-making. It will be necessary for technology to automate the above process.

Technology is no longer own the systems area; Today impacts almost all the organization technology platforms that facilitate their operation. The content, understood as a long-term strategy and a well-defined scheme, may be the steady pace that your organization needs to enter the digital world.

NO. ¿Tiene mejor precio? NO. ¿Aporta más beneficio a nuestro cuerpo? ¡JA! NO.

It is interesting that the second word most famous in the world after "OK" is "Coca-Cola"; and many babies, instead of saying "mom" or "dad" as its first word, it is "Coca" (soda, do not think bad). Are you surprised by that? Most likely not; but have you ever wondered why this happens with Coke ?, Why its great taste? NO. Do you have better price? NO. Does it provide more benefit to our body? JA! NO. So what's the secret? The secret is that this company knows very well what it is to generate a branding strategy and foremost, know how to achieve it.
Ok, but ... What is Branding?
Already much has been said about the concepts of branding, trademark, logo, etc. So I'll cut to the chase:
"Branding is the process of development, brand management and dissemination."

Ok, but ... What is brand?
It's funny and sometimes frustrating to see how, even today, among the professionals of our sector professionals is still confusion between the term "brand", "logo". So once and for all I'll say:
"BRAND AND LOGO NO synonyms"
To say that a logo is a brand is like saying that a tire is a car. It's like saying that a string is a guitar. It is like saying that a crest is a president (Oops !, Did I say that?).

After downloading a bit my frustration in the previous paragraph, I'll cut to the chase and tell you the brand concept:
"The brand is the unifying element capable of changing behaviors and perceptions, generate meanings and relationships, but above all, competitive value proposals expressing"

No corporate identity, not a logo or a name, they have the ability to transform behaviors or perceptions, at least not alone.
In fact there are big brands, exceptional brands, generating trends, experiences and meanings that do not have a big "logo" and an extraordinary corporate identity, but that the strategy is superior to its competition and as a result able to generate what many just dream ... A brand.
These marks are twofold, two visions, what we see and what we see:
WHAT WE SEE
Visual identity
It called by some "the heart of the brand" is the visual representation (pun intended) of the mark consisting of the logo (logo, isotype, imagotype, logotype, etc. Then talk about this topic.) the color code (yes The colors you are going to represent) fonts, etc.

Naming
The name identifies, difference, defines and connects with the audience of your brand. In the words of the great Joan Costa "It has no name, it does not exist". The brand name is the most repeated message of all. Much more than logos, symbols, colors, far more than the product package, for all these change (or change) over time and the trend of taste.
Why so important? Because that the human brain works by categories that simplify your work. Each new knowledge, included within one of those categories or create one specifically for them. Therefore, naming something (a brand) facilitate storage and recall it.
"A name can take your brand to the biggest successes or failures more terrible"

 WHAT YOU DO NOT SEE
Branding
Positioning a brand is about to become the industry standard, grade, market. Being the main options, or better yet, the only option in the minds of consumers and thus put their trust and thus their money.
Some professionals named to the "Positioning" as the core or center of the mark, then guide the characteristics and actions of the brand strategy, personality, attitude, character, etc. And pacesetter even visible aspects of the brand visual identity, verbal, user experience, etc.
Brand architecture
Here the set of strategies and tactics that will be held in a company to build and organize their portfolio of brands, its structure, levels and hierarchies, and the roles of each brand is defined. Some types of brand architecture include:
Monolithic Using the same brand for all levels of architecture: corporate level, product line, service line, etc. A striking example is Yamaha, since under the same brand includes everything from musical instruments, audio, motorcycles, marine engines and even cars
Multimarca: Here a strong, independent brand is developed for each company's products. A clear example of this is Unilever and its many successful brands.
IN CONCLUSION:
Branding is a discipline very common, complex sense and not just about sitting down to design a "logo" at the computer.

"Anyway ... When you have a branding project, first try to think about what is not, to have a foundation so if you see (or see)

* Thank you for reading, I hope I have contributed (at least a little) to your training and this article has inspired you (Or too much to ask?) To value projects branding.

In the area of marketing we own our concepts and ideas but, How owners are actually (legally speaking) ?, sometimes as people dedicated to marketing generate brand names, slogans, imagotypes, concepts and ways of working only under our own perspective. But we often forget an important issue, which allows us to work for a brand with long-term fruits: REGISTRATION AND PROPERTY OF A BRAND
The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) is responsible for regulating the whole topic about trademarks and patents, is to which we must register our brands even before they used body.

The ownership of a trademark is something to take very seriously: How many clients or employers there who have worked years for a mark that is not registrable or is already registered and that under no circumstances will register it in your name? The answer is many. It is very sad to see entrepreneurs who have more than 10 years working a brand that is not and can not be theirs, legality and use of a mark must always be the lifeblood of a company as having covered this factor will save you from future disappointments , loss of time and money.
Our job as marketers is to offer projects and brands that are recordable and be totally honest when customers have brands or imagotypes that can not be registered, tell them honestly that his concept is very trite and impossible to register or already registered by another person. And if you do not know the subject best left records and legal affairs of the brand with an expert.

Here are some tips you can take to create a new brand:

To brainstorm a list of ten possible names, try not generate simple or very obvious and you probably already are registered names.
Once you have the list of possible names, verifies that each name or brand name previously registered this eliminates the yes and retains an option to choose not. All this can be done directly on the website of IMPI, in the section Marcanet.
Once you have the names themselves are registrable, you can register and enter your brand or; if you will make the registration of a trademark with imagotype you recommend a figurative search, which yield the most similar (or identical to yours) logos for if there is something similar that could hinder your process, you can change prior to registration, you We recommend doing this every time you change the image as it provides security when entering the record.
If you know nothing of trademarks and patents, LEARN or go to an adviser to the registration process of your brand as quick as possible.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW TO REGISTER YOUR MARK

It is inexpensive
Step is slow
We must follow if there clarifications or folios that you must answer
Once you give the title this is valid for 10 years, a little before you have to renew it and pay a fee for it.
If someone is going to register the mark in your name to be someone professional and reliable
If the mark is joint ownership, the registration will be done the same way counting with the contract because sometimes some companies "word" only one of the partners registered the brand name.

Let's face it, today the idea that a customer is 100% loyal to a brand is more a dream than a reality, why? Simply because today we have hundreds of options, in which many factors as price, quality, fashion, proximity, etc. influence Buy a product today is not like a few years ago where there was only one product seller, now if we do not like to sell us on the corner you can get in the other corner but the world .. (I know, blessed be the internet ). But as we represent a personal and professional advantage to have so many options, it also means that we have much more work to do to retain our customers.
Now I think of any product or service that you picture there are at least 4 or 5 brands that manage it, so we can not fall asleep on our laurels or be concerned only by opening new markets and buyers. A trite phrase that without exaggeration read as 20 times while investigating a little more about the subject in question is that "is more expensive to invest in getting more customers to preserve and assure that we have" and hackneyed that it is so real it hurts.
The answer is simple: "make them fall in love every day", I know that perhaps is one of the most romantic Comments I will say, but it's true ... when compared to the romance, the loyalty of our customer will be based on the interest and care that we have, we must not stifle apapacharlo and let you know that we will always be there for him. And if for some reason one day decides to look away and try another product and / or service knees again so much that surprised us and know that as our company is no comparison.
And as I succeed Him? 4 Principles for your customer loyalty
1. For you to learn to love what you love.
When they want it? How? Because they want? Really what they want is what they need ?. I think always I emphasize the point segmentation and knowledge of the target ... but I've actually seen several projects without rhyme or reason, just want to get promotions and give away things and then they have given many and put thousand discounts, the rest of the year sales are low or categorized as bad for needing both discount and sales are almost nil and prestige was on the floor ... these failed campaigns are due to so NO know their customers.
To start planning loyalty campaigns (also called loyalty programs) is not necessary for us to be a great company after national. Even a super merchandising and advertising budget necessary. We just have to find the most skillful and sensible to reach the hearts of our customers so that means sometimes give a special status, sometimes in planning how to give a reward for the years or purchase amounts, invite to special events, make you feel leaving important because of their loyalty and commitment, whether the first or the only people to gain some limited edition, ranks avoid having to appoint a special person to be given a royal treatment at the time of transactions, do part of your results thanking him for being a vital part of these achievements.
2. In good times and bad. Personally I applaud and encourage those entrepreneurs who have understood that a client the better be treated and given proper monitoring will continue with you, you are not just a ticket more in portfolio, if not that in the end are people also looking to get the best out and if possible a lasting relationship. I really love those entrepreneurs who can give the warmth of family business where they meet head to toe its customers and pampered as if they were part of the family, they speak the same language and make them feel important part of your business or brand (regardless of whether it is a multinational company or the local shop). If you can do that with every customer you have, when unpleasant situations beyond your control occur (certainly that I can assure you, at some point you will fail our client but we do not want) such as late delivery, we ran the product that came specifically to search, that the goods did not come under optimal conditions, a poor response to any of our employees, price increases, etc. A loyal customer will warn you of what is bothering you looking for an answer to an "attitude or situation" that you know is not normal for your product or service, try to speak to correct or find a civilized resolution of the conflict, I'm sure though the fault has been serious was the think more than twice before you leave, because they know that you have the support or that you like so much your product or service that is not encouraged to take drastic measures. Otherwise, you will not complain but if several others desprestigiándote or simply will not see him again ... or the most common combination of these two.
(Note also have to identify the opportunists who are just looking to take advantage of inter-relationship and separate them because one bad apple can poison the others).
3. I will love you enough to not become monotonous.
Let's face it, when you feel "too comfortable" with a relationship and not seek its steady growth, then "the magic" is lost. Carlos Asin, commercial director of The Brand Experience, marketing and advertising agency, says that "We must revive the less active and tries to win back former customers," We must not allow the good clients fall asleep. He also mentions that "the experiences mark, Calan and record the message in the public mind. You have to throw influence brief and clear, first messages to customers but also to consumers. This impacts on the public and knocks of new customers. " And there's always more than one way to solve problems. There is nothing better to rekindle the fire rekindle the flame with another surprise when they least expect !.
4. No frills you look prettier.
Another thing I've noticed many loyalty campaigns is that when it comes to "move" to the client, they do so misleading. But that is just the opposite of the purpose of a loyalty program, because the client generates high expectations and mentally when reality has left disappointed and feel betrayed by the brand. This can be a very dramatic break and nothing good for our image. An example I've seen a lot is in the famous "Blue Circle" Telcel is a loyalty program where depending on the time you have in your contract and plan you have get some points which can redeem as "discount" for a cell at the time of renewal, but personally I have found with many unhappy customers that do not really have clear the equivalent value of (actually even employees know to answer you for sure how many points a month are or grants that are comparable, since each cell will mark designates certain value to the points depending on model), so a person who has spent years without redeeming points and has a high plan when you choose to renew your plan and use you, a great expectation that already has enough points to acquire the newest and fresh out of the oven cell latest technology without the need to shell out a penny, and good that has happened on occasion know that is becomes very far from reality, perhaps the amount if diminish but never will free the newest and brand new phone. Whose fault is it? Customer expectations generated by the company or not clarify at the outset the how and why of the points awarded?

Also another common trap is to announce loyalty award as something new, unique, precious or products that are being unheard of past seasons or common line without much real value. Or in advertising goes a certain way, for example, free ice cream that you'll take when you redeem 5 purchases made, or the gift that you give away when you get to a certain amount and it is the most common and frightening thing in the world. As such there are a thousand more examples, far from letting the customer a pleasant feeling of being rewarded, they feel cheated by the companies. I think we must always be clear that they will, as you can get, to equivalent things, and consider an appropriate gift or otherwise better not to risk for such campaigns to prevent such misunderstandings that could cause us loss of a beautiful relationship.
5. I love you as I love you today, tomorrow, past and in 10, 15 or 20 years.
One of the most common mistakes is to not give adequate follow, loyalty campaigns are not handled alone, if you do not put effort to monitor purchases and requirements of your customers and encourage the sale, because you think your client will do it for ?, you should not be stalkers or One of the most common mistakes is to not give adequate follow, loyalty campaigns are not handled alone, if you do not put effort to monitor purchases and requirements of your customers and encourage sales because you think your client will do for you ?, there that stalkers or encimosos to be chasing because otherwise end up scaring them, but if we can generate (according to our turn) a scheduled evaluation or market studies, for evaluate how they have dealt with in our company, to what position we are in the top of mind, which would improve us, that's what you do not like to correct, or that you like to keep, if appropriate the volume you are buying, if you need more or even less if required; remember that sometimes earn more for wanting to end up drowning ourselves, it is better to give viable and real alternatives to our customers. Today I do not want to buy 3 when only needed one because he felt pressured and not be comfortable with our service and the next time you see us better will turn around to spare. Loyalty is a commitment to continuous improvement by both parties and is a relationship that we wish to continue for a long, long time. to be chasing because otherwise end up scaring them, but if we can generate (according to our turn) a scheduled evaluation or market studies to assess how they have dealt with in our company, to what position we are in the top of mind which would improve us, that's what you do not like to correct, or that you like to keep, if appropriate volume you are buying, if you need more and even if it requires less; remember that sometimes earn more for wanting to end up drowning ourselves, it is better to give viable and real alternatives to our customers. Today I do not want to buy 3 when only needed one because he felt pressured and not be comfortable with our service and the next time you see us better will turn around to spare.

The experiential marketing is the challenge of any campaign to conquer the consumer, but most go unnoticed. The expert summit approaches.
Consumer model 2015 bit interested in seeing advertising and even most campaigns are going completely unnoticed. Why?

Basically because their lifestyle is such that are truly few have the opportunity to stop and observe the work of a trademark unless it offers him something in return.

But for everything there is a solution and apparently brands have already found a way to deal with this problem: experiential marketing.

It is a stream of marketing that has been gaining momentum in recent years and has had as main objective to get consumers to live rewarding experiences for them each approaching a mark.
"The call experiential marketing allows brands to have a more humane approach to consumers, allowing them to live through their senses very special moments through which can be positioned in their subconscious."
he objective of this marketing strategy is to coexist with consumers in a close way that goes far beyond simply to show what its attributes are.
Mexico as an example in the work that the brand Cielito Querido Cafe, which has created a particular environment for consumers within their cafes, leading them to enjoy every sip of your favorite drink.
"Cielito Querido Cafe is in my view one of the brands that best marketing experience made in Mexico, as not only concerned in offering a good drink, but also flavored their stores, they have friendly dealings with customers, talk to them by name and touch his Mexican heart. "
Creating brand experiences
What then would be the key to developing this type of marketing?
There are four key points that brands must take into account in order to generate experiential strategies that touch the consumer. Here we present them.
1. Consumer Evaluation
Brands make a strong research your target, same that goes far beyond simply knowing their demographic qualities. The important thing here is to identify what emotions and actions consumers to take them as an example and have them play in their favor are identified.
2. Human History
Secondly, it highlights the importance of creating a story that the brand can identify themselves attractively to consumers. From this story we will think to develop the emotions that seeks to make the customer feel, as does Cielito Querido Cafe with your brand idea trying to give value to the feeling of the Mexican.
3. Technological Support
One point which is very important today is supported by new technologies such as social networks or augmented reality applications and development experiences.

What people are looking for today are not only things that attract your attention, but also offer them practical solutions to their needs.
4. Total Measurement
Finally, it ensures that the experiential campaigns should be perfectly evaluated through metrics that favor the return on investment.

"It's not an excuse not to do this kind of campaigns do not know how to measure, there is a lot of Big Data which we can feed ourselves today to find out who is working well or poorly the work we are doing," he says.
